Subject: Any experience of transactional logging on a cluster?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5
Reproducible: Always

Running domino 8.5 64bit with domino cluster (two servers).

We have the data directory on a SAN and now having huge problems with the daily backups.
It has to make a full backup every time of the databases.

I want to inplement archived transactional logging and backup the log files with HP's Data Protector. Anyone having experience of that?

Can I have archived log files in the data folder

How much disk space do I need if I add another disk on the SAN?

Do I need to run transactional logging on both servers?
